Feel Gin Festival 2026
All staff for Feel Gin Festival 2026 at the Campo Argentino de Polo: access control, box office, bartenders, glass polishing and glass handout, build and teardown, with coordination before, during and after the event.
Feel Gin Festival returned to the Campo Argentino de Polo in Palermo on 1 May 2026: a gin festival with free tastings at every stand, national and international distilleries, bars, live music and the festival glass in hand, for adults only. DER supplied and coordinated all the event staff: access control and box office, bartenders, glass polishing and handout, and the build and teardown crews. Coordination covered everything: before, during and after.
On site for the build
We were there from set-up, days before the festival: stage, structures, platforms and bars. The build crew worked with a DER lead on site, coordinated with every supplier.
Access control and box office
The entrance had its ticket control team and a box office for people buying on the day, with age checks at the door of a festival where alcohol is served.
Bartenders at the bars
Bartenders from our team behind the bars, serving gin and tonics all night with each brand’s products.
Glass polishing and handout
Every guest received the festival glass. The polishing team kept glasses clean and in circulation, so at a free-tasting festival there was always a glass ready.
Coordination by radio
All staff were connected by two-way radio across a large site: access, bars, glasses and build on the same channel, with a lead who saw the whole event.
Teardown the same night
When the festival closed, teardown began: platforms, structures and equipment loaded onto the trucks that same night, by the same team.
At a free-tasting festival the problem is the empty glass. Always having a clean one and someone behind the bar is staffing work, not luck.
