ArPa, the contemporary art fair Camilla Barella founded in São Paulo in 2022, held its first international edition in Buenos Aires from 16 to 20 September 2026, directed here by Flavia Masetto. The venue was Casa Victoria Ocampo, the house Alejandro Bustillo designed in 1929 and now home of the Fondo Nacional de las Artes: 20 galleries from Argentina and Brazil, a sculpture garden, two preview days for collectors and guests and three days open to the public, with free entry and prior registration. With Galicia Éminent as sponsor and partners such as Range Rover, Nieto Senetiner and Omint, ArPa hired us for the whole access operation: registration, invitations, badges and the door. It was the debut of PASE, our accreditation platform, at a real event, and over five days 3,229 people came in.

01

Registration inside ArPa’s website

The sign-up form lived on the fair’s own website, with its branding. Each person picked a day and a time slot and received their QR pass by email, in Spanish, Portuguese or English, sent from ArPa’s address rather than ours.

02

One QR per gallery and per partner

Each gallery and each partner got a shared QR for its guests, capped at 60 entries (200 for the largest). At the door the screen showed “entry 12 of 60”, so a link forwarded on WhatsApp could not let anyone in.

03

Collectors, VIPs and the public

The 16th and 17th were preview days for collectors; from the 18th to the 20th the public came in. The VIP pass entered every day with a guest, the public pass only on its day and slot. The door handled it on its own, with no paper lists.

04

Photo badges

We produced more than 130 photo badges for gallery teams, security and staff, on ArPa’s design and print-ready, each with the fair’s lanyard.

05

The door, rehearsed in advance

The day before, we tested the door with 60 test QR codes: valid, already used, wrong time slot, cancelled and fake. With a single checkpoint, on Sunday 278 people came in between 3 and 4 pm, with 46 scans in the peak minute.

06

Live dashboard and closing report

ArPa’s team followed check-ins live on a dashboard with no password. At the close, PASE built the report of the five days on its own: hourly curve, entries per day and where each pass came from. Of the 2,949 people who signed up on the website, 1,330 came.

This event ran on PASE, our QR accreditation platform: registration, badges, door control and the final report in a single system.

At a boutique fair the door is part of the experience: collectors cannot be kept waiting and every gallery needs to know its guests got in.
