For event and incentive agencies in Australia and New Zealand
Australian and NZ agencies: your event in Argentina
Your agency designs and sells the programme; SOMOS DER delivers it in Buenos Aires, in Patagonia or anywhere else in the country. Venues, suppliers, local crew and accreditation, with a single production lead working remotely with your team from the first brief to the final report.
Why Argentina for your client
Same seasons as home
Argentina is in the southern hemisphere too: summer from December to February and snow in Bariloche from July to September. No surprises when you plan the programme around the weather.
A time gap that works
Sydney is 13 or 14 hours ahead of Buenos Aires depending on the time of year, and Auckland 15 or 16. Our late afternoon is your early morning, so every day there is a slot to work live and the rest moves while you sleep.
Patagonia, wine and food
Glaciers, lakes, Mendoza vineyards and the Buenos Aires dining scene: a long-haul trip that pays off with moments your group cannot get closer to home.
Combine it with the region
Buenos Aires works as a base for a wider South American programme, and we also produce in other Latin American countries with suppliers in the region.
Budget in your currency
We source from local suppliers at Argentine market prices and present a single figure in Australian, New Zealand or US dollars.
Argentina hosted 147 international association meetings in the ICCA 2025 rankings, placing 30th in the world.

Frequently asked questions
Has DER worked for agencies from abroad?
Yes. We executed the Manchester City trophy tour in Buenos Aires for a UK agency and an activation at Cerro Catedral for a Brazilian agency. We do not have a published case with an agency from Australia or New Zealand yet.
Can you work white label?
Yes. It is one of our regular formats: we operate under your agency’s brand and the relationship with the end client stays yours.
How do you handle a 13 to 16 hour time difference?
We agree a fixed daily call in the slot where our evening meets your morning, and everything else runs in writing, so you wake up to answers. On the day, our production direction is on site.
How do you put a budget together remotely?
With local suppliers and Argentine market prices. We check every quote against our production criteria and present a single figure in your currency.
Will you sign an NDA?
Yes. If you need one, we sign a non-disclosure agreement before you share the brief or your client’s name.
Have an event in Argentina for a client?
Tell us the city, the dates and the size of the group. Someone from our team will get back to you.
